Statement: My family has always held humor very close to our hearts. The way I see it, laughter brings people together, it uplifts them, and it gives people an outlet when the going gets rough. It means a lot to me, and it shows in the work I do. Bright colors, with a focus on character and narrative storytelling through illustration. My art is a form of escapism from the dreary daily routines of life, allowing people a window to a selection of different worlds filled with life, love, and comedy that varies from our own, but still mirrors it in a believable way.
Using a mix of traditional and digital media, my approach to each of my pieces is very similar, and the consistent theme of fun pseudo-realistic visions ties them together. Even when different pieces or groups of work cover genres on the opposite ends of the fictional spectrum, the tone they share gives them a distinct signature that is uniquely mine.
